Delete your SparkLMS account

You can ask us to delete your SparkLMS account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This applies to everyone who uses the SparkLMS app or website: parents and guardians, students, teachers and school staff, and school administrators.

How to ask for deletion

Fill in the form below with your name and the email address or mobile number you sign in with. (Or email privacy@aharbal.com with the subject “Delete my SparkLMS account”, or ask your school’s office.)
We contact you to confirm. Within 7 days someone from Aharbal gets in touch on your registered email or mobile number to make sure the request really comes from you. For a student, we also check with the school, which keeps the student’s official records. Nothing is deleted before you confirm.
We delete your account within 30 days of your confirmation and let you know when it is done. You will no longer be able to sign in.

What is deleted

Your sign-in account: name, mobile number, email address, username and password.
Your sign-in sessions, one-time codes, notifications and app settings.
For parents and guardians: your contact details (and occupation and income, if recorded) and your access to your children’s information.
Messages, feedback and files you created yourself, unless your school must keep them as a school record (then your name is removed from them).

What is kept, and for how long

School records the school must keep — for example a student’s admission, attendance, marks, report cards and certificates — stay with the school, which is responsible for them. Ask the school if you want any of these removed.
Fee payments and receipts are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually up to 8 years), and are not used for anything else.
Security logs of sign-ins and changes are kept for up to 1 year, then deleted.
Backups: deleted data disappears from our backups within 7 days, when they are overwritten.
